How is jaw augmentation done?

Jaw Augmentation

Many people find a strong jawline to be a sign of strength of character, particularly in men. Those born with a weaker jawline may opt for jaw augmentation to give them a more prominent facial profile. In jaw augmentation, or mandibular augmentation, incisions are generally made inside the mouth, and solid silicone implants are put in place.

Be prepared for discomfort and perhaps the inability to eat solid foods for a while after the jaw augmentation surgery. Stock up of soft foods like applesauce, yogurt, cottage cheese, and be sure you have plenty of liquids available. Protein drinks are ideal, as are smoothies, which can be pre-made and refrigerated or frozen ahead of time.
