  • Don't take aspirin before the procedure. Your doctor will prescribe any medications you need for recovery.
  • Don't smoke. It hinders your recovery.
  • Don't use herbal remedies such as St. John's Wort, ephedra nad gingko biloba.
  • Do relax.
  • Have a blood count done and send or have the test results faxed to your surgeon.

Above all, go home with your wife and spend the evening supporting each other.
